The Town Council of the Town of Marlinton will hold a regular meeting Wednesday,
the 9th day of March, 2011, beginning at 7 p.m., prevailing time, in Council Chambers
at the Municipal Building, Marlinton, West Virginia.
The agenda for the meeting is set forth below.
Agenda topics
 Call to Order/Roll Call.
 Reading and Approval of Prior Council Meeting Minutes.
 Hear Mayor’s Report.
 Hear update on Flood Protection Project from project coordinator and
act on Project Fiscal Agent.
 Hear and act on a request to authorize a change order to the Waste
Treatment Plant Upgrade Project.
 Consider adoption of a drawdown resolution for the Waste Treatment
Plant Upgrade Project.
 Hear and act on a proposal from Pocahontas County Sheriff Jonese
regarding law enforcement services for the Town of Marlinton.
 Hear and act on Housing Authority Recommendations to fill vacant
seats on the Authority. – Mr. Fred Burns, Jr.
 Hear and act on a request dealing with street repairs. – Mr. DeWayne
Kennison
 Hear and act on requested budget revisions for the current budget
year.
 Hear and act on adoption of next year’s budget for year beginning 1
July 2011.
 Hold second reading of the Garbage/Sanitation Ordinance.
 Set the dates and authorize expenditures for the Town’s Spring Clean-
Up.
 Act on and authorize matters relating to personnel, procedures and
expenditures for the Town’s election.
 Set the date for the next Personnel Committee Meeting.
 Act on a request to authorize payment of the bills.
