The Town Council of the Town of Marlinton will hold a regular meeting
Wednesday, the 10th day of March, 2010, beginning at 7 p.m., prevailing time,
in Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, Marlinton, West Virginia.

Hear Mayor’s Report
Hear and act on a drawdown request for the Waste Water
Treatment Plant – Storm Water Project – Teri Kiser.
Hear and act on a funding request to support the Marlinton
Depot Project - CVB.
Hear and act on a funding request for “Go Marlinton”, a
marketing project for Town – Gail Hyre.
Hear and act on the Police Committee’s recommendations
regarding the resignation of the Town Police Officer and the
Police Department as a whole including equipment and
vehicle.
Review and act on the State Police Contract.
Act on recommendations regarding the CodeRED emergency
notification system.
Discuss and act on items, approvals and processes relating to
the expenditure of town funds and project change orders.
Hear and act on recommended budget revisions.
Discuss employee pay.
Hold first reading of proposed Flood Plain Ordinance.
Hear and act on recommendations regarding insurance related
concerns identified by the Board of Risk inspection.
Discuss and act on Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.
Review and act on engineering proposals relating to the
Request for Proposals for storm water reduction / sewage
treatment plant nutrient removal project.
Review, discuss and act on the Town Employee Drug and
Alcohol Policy.
Hear an update on the mural project in Marlinton.
Act on a request to authorize payment of the bills.
