The Town Council of the Town of Marlinton will hold a regular meeting Wednesday, the 11th day of May, 2011, beginning a 7:00 p.m., prevailing time, in Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, Marlinton, West Virginia.

Hear Mayor’s Report

Hear and act on concerns regarding standing water in yard on 2nd avenue.

Hear and act on a request to support WVMR festival coverage.

Hear and act on requested budget revision.

Hear update from Police Committee.

Discuss and act on problem with dogs running at large.

The recorder will give updates and answer questions from public on any follow-up items from last meeting.

Discuss and act on dates for early voting in person and poll worker pay.

Hear and act on recommendations from personnel committee regarding town staffing and personnel matters.

Act on a request to authorize payment of the bills

Discuss and act on and hold 1st reading of animal ordinance
