The Town Council of the Town of Marlinton will hold a regular meeting Wednesday, the 14th day of July, 2010, beginning at 7 p.m., prevailing time, in Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, Marlinton, West Virginia.

Hear Mayor’s Report
Hear and act on a drawdown request for the Waste Water Treatment Plant – Storm Water Project – Region IV.
Act on a request to wave the building permit fee and/or issue a variance to wave the B&O tax or decrease the B&O tax rate for work associated with the repairs to the Methodist Church.
Hear update on the results of the regulatory inspection and act on any recommendations regarding drainage problems around the Hefner residence.
Discuss and act on recommendation for chain link fence sign on Rt. 219 – Dave Zorn.
Discuss and act on Rural Water Conference – Joe Smith
Review and act on a contract for Potesta.
Hear and act on a Water and Sewer budget for USDA.
Hear and act on proposed water rate changes.
Hear and act on a request to change the business classification or lower the garbage rate for Rayetta’s Lunchbox.
Hear and act on information regarding potential legal and ownership issues relating to Courtney Avenue.
Discuss and act on selling (putting out for bid) the Police Car.
Discuss and act on concerns and resolutions to fire damaged and other dilapidated properties.
Hear and act on Trailer committee recommendations which could include ordinance revisions and/or clarifications regarding the placement of travel trailers in town.
Hear and act on recommendations regarding the purchase of a CodeRED emergency notification system.
Discuss and act on installing “speed bumps” in alleys.
Hold and act on second and final reading of the Flood Plain Ordinance amendments.
Hear and act on recommendations from the Municipal Building Committee regarding building inspection / mold condition report and concerns. – Norris Long.
Hear and act on recommendation to cut the pine trees at the Mausoleum.
Hear and act on recommendation to install a handicap ramp at the Water Plant.
Hear and act on recommendations from the personnel committee regarding employee pay and other items.
Act on a request to authorize payment of the bills.
