The Town Council of the Town of Marlinton will hold a regular meeting Wednesday, the 12th day of May, 2010, beginning at 7 p.m., prevailing time, in Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, Marlinton, West Virginia.

Hear Mayor’s Report
Hear and act on a drawdown request for the Waste Water Treatment Plant – Storm Water Project – Region IV.
Hear and act on a request to issue a variance to the sign ordinance for an on premise sign for a new business. – Ms. Rayetta Barnisky
Hear and act on a request to authorize the payment of expenses associated with the Mayor’s attendance of a Greenbrier Watershed meeting.
Hear and act on a problem and/or concern regarding a dog. – Ms. Jessica Hefner
Hear and act on a complaint regarding standing water and drainage problem. – Ms. Jessica Hefner
Hear and act on a concern with high water bill for business/residential customer. – Ms. Jessica Hefner
Discuss and act on recommendation to change the water rates and review and make changes to the ordinance.
Discuss and act on concerns and resolutions to fire damaged and other dilapidated properties.
Act on funding recommendations regarding the CodeRED emergency notification system.
Hear and act on a request to participate with summer tourism underwriting for WVMR.
Review recommendations resulting from engineering firm interviews and select a firm for storm/waste water and nutrient removal project.
Hear update from travel trailer committee and act on ordinance clarifications and change recommendations.
Act on a request to authorize payment of the bills.
