The Town Council of the Town of Marlinton will hold a regular meeting Wednesday, the 9th day of September, 2009, beginning at 7 p.m., prevailing time, in Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, Marlinton, West Virginia.

Old Business
o To consider and act upon a proposed Supplemental Resolution providing for the issuance of the Combined Waterworks and Sewerage System Revenue Bonds, Series 2009 B (West Virginia SRF Program/ARRA) (the “Bonds”).
o To consider a Draw Resolution for the payment of invoices from the Bonds
o To consider a Sweep Resolution pertaining to the automatic payment of bonds to the Municipal Bond Commission
• Hear an update from the Recorder regarding signs along state roads and byways, outdoor advertising rules, directional signs and town ordinance
• Review and Act on Recorders recommendations from 8 September 2009 meeting regarding:
o Ordinance system and budget revision
o Water and Sewer System
New Business
• Hear and act on a request from a business owner to issue a variance to the garbage fee ordinance or otherwise offer relief for businesses.
• Hear and act on a request to replace the flower planters in town
• Read and consider the adoption of a corporate resolution regarding the Buckeye water tap account
• Hear and act on a request to adopt a hazard mitigation plan resolution
• Hear and act on recommendations related to town personnel and their rates of pay
• Review, consider and act on an extension of the State Police contract to provide police coverage
Act on request to authorize payment of the bills.
