Create Pocahontas

You are invited to Create Pocahontas……if you have a genuine desire to improve your community; however you define improvement, willing and ability to learn and apply new ways of getting things done and have self interest and willingness to work on broader issues – you must be part of Create Pocahontas.

Are you a merchant, retail, commercial, an artist, in the hospitality industry, are you a young person or youth in the area that is interested in shaping your future, part of government or governmental agency, business owner, musician or educator, farmer, or you have retired to our beautiful county, everybody with creative ideas and the energy to do something with your ideas  – WE WANT YOU !!

Let’s together build our county into creative communities through talent and education, technology, tolerance and diversity and promote our culture through third places and our beautiful outdoors.  Create Pocahontas wants to build a group of people involved in planning and execution of projects that will move your community toward a shared vision of the future.

We will gather at the Snowshoe Mountain Career Center on April 6, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. for a gathering to chart our future.
